Dear Vilas,

          I hope you are not surprised to see the new address above. I had told you that dad was keen on shifting to M.S.E.B. quarters as this is close to his workplace. Finally, we have settled in. 

          It wasn't easy to say 'goodbye' to 'Suyog' at Vikas Nagar. We had no alternative. All my friends are now far away. I rarely meet them. However, I have made quite a few new friends here. The area is open and green and there is a large playground in the center of the complex. 

          The new school I am going to is also outstanding. I suppose this change is for the better. 

          Do write soon. I hope, you should be one of the first from whom I receive a letter at my new address.

प्रिय विलास,

          मला आशा आहे की वरील नवीन पत्ता पाहून तुम्हाला आश्चर्य वाटले नाही.  मी तुम्हाला सांगितले होते की बाबा एम.एस.ई.बी. मध्ये हलविण्यास उत्सुक होते.  हे त्याच्या कामाच्या ठिकाणी जवळ असल्याने हे क्षेत्र आहे.  शेवटी आम्ही स्थायिक झालो आहोत.

         विकास नगर येथे 'सुयोग'ला निरोप देणे सोपे नव्हते.  आमच्याकडे पर्याय नव्हता.  माझे सर्व मित्र आता खूप दूर आहेत.  मी त्यांना क्वचितच भेटतो. 

         तथापि, मी येथे बरेच काही नवीन मित्र केले आहेत.  परिसर मोकळा आणि हिरवागार आहे आणि संकुलाच्या मध्यभागी एक मोठे क्रीडांगण आहे.  मी ज्या नवीन शाळेत जात आहे ते देखील खूप चांगले आहे. मला असे वाटते की हा बदल चांगल्यासाठी आहे. 

         लवकरच लिहा.  मला आशा आहे, ज्यांच्याकडून माझ्या नवीन पत्त्यावर मला पत्र प्राप्त झाले त्यातील तुम्ही पहिले असावे.
